MSM Eye Drops: An Effective Solution For Your Eyes

The Benefits Of MSM Eye Drops

What is MSM?

MSM or Methylsulfonylmethane is organic sulfur, which is essential for our physical well-being. It is able to go through the membranes in our body, and due to its penetrating ability it can reach the retina to heal it. MSM is very good addition to our diet due to its nutritional properties. It can be found in dairy products, grains, vegetables and fruits.

What positive effects it brings? The condition of your hair and nails will greatly improve. They will grow faster as well. While some people might thing that faster growing hair is something undesirable, it only shows how healthy your body is; because it means that the metabolism is good. The same goes to your skin – it will look and feel healthier and prettier.

What About Our Eyes?

We need to keep our eyes tissues and muscles in a good condition to maintain good eye vision as long as it possible. Due to the modern living conditions with a high percentage of artificial things it become more and more difficult for our body to remain in a healthy condition; the same can be said about our eyes; actually they suffer even more than many other parts of the body – due to the lack of sun light, constant staring at the screens and monitors, absence of good physical activity, and bad food habits – all these things influence our eye sight.

How Can MSM Eye Drops Help Us?

MSM Eye Drops

MSM Eye Drops

MSM drops soften eye membranes to let the internal fluids pass through the optical tissues without stopping. These drops normalize inside eye pressure, soften tough-leathery tissue, clear red spots and broken blood vessels, and repair damaged membranes. They cleanse our eye in a soft way, and they can be a good relieving solution for those who wear contact lenses as they provide a soothing effect to the eyes.

What Are The MSM Eye Drops Side Effects?

In general these drops are safe, sterile and nontoxic. They are good for all topological uses and have no harmful and skin irritating chemicals as their ingredients. To help yourself with the decision you can find more MSM eye drops reviews online and see what people have to say about the drops properties.

How To Make MSM Eye Drops?

First of all you will need to get 8 oz distilled water. Then add to it 1-2 drops of 35% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide to purify it and also add 1 teaspoon MSM. All your instruments must be sterile since you want to make an eye solution. If you need a good eye dropper bottle you can buy some other eye drops, and use their bottle.

Where Can You Get MSM?

You can normally buy it at your food store. It is often available as 99.99% pure MSM in four pound tubs at $20-25 (well, the price can be different, actually).

MSM Eye Drops For Cataracts

A cataract is a condition that often comes with the age. It is caused by the weakness of the retina. It is the common cause not only for cataracts but for glaucoma as well. This weakness leads to waste build up inside the eye tissues and reduces the ability to see. These drops remove wastes and restore the eye tissue condition. They also tone our eye muscles which are directly responsible for the sharpness of our eye sight. In general you can safely use MSM eye drops to restore your eyes condition or to maintain the good eye vision. But remember that it is always good to consult with the trusted doctor before you start your treatment.

    Hi!
I read on a Natural Eye Care site that MSM eyedrops ‘may’ help in alleviating the symptoms and deter the growth of bad cells caused by Fuch’s Dystrophy… just would like your opinion. I’ve worked in health food stores (Vitamin Cottage in Denver and GNC)…and am aware of how careful one has to be in making ‘claims’…but still would like to ask your opinion. THANK YOU.
I had cataract surgery on July 5th and July 12th…which definately made the FD ‘act up’…its a little discouraging. I absolutely REFUSE to think and believe that I have only corneal transplant to look forward to. My eye surgeon said I have a ‘mild case’ in only my L eye.

MSM eyedrops and eyedrops without mercury compounds or anticholinerics may help ease the symptoms of Fuch’s Dystrophy and preserve vision as they are able to drain excessive fluid. Please, keep in mind that ‘claims’ do not always consider the difference in everyone’s unique condition. Of course, there are similarities that allow a professional treatment, but the best way is to follow the recommendations of the doctor who KNOWS you and YOUR CONDITION.
Often a cataract surgery leads to the reduction in the number of endothelial cells in 5-10%. When the surgery is performed at an initial density of endothelial cells at least 1000 cells per square mm, the risk of long-term problems with the cornea is not high; but again, it should be properly estimated before the surgery takes place.
I don’t know your case and I’m not the professional in this field, so I doubt my opinion really matters. The only thing about MSM eye drops is that they are helpful in Fuch’s Dystrophy, but how far their benefits go, I honestly don’t know.

    Hello,

I’ve read somewhere that MSM eye drops can eliminate eye floaters as well. Is this really true ?

    Regards,
    Lex

      Hello, Lex,
As far as I know, MSM eye drops can help reduce the impact of the floaters, but I’m not sure if they can eliminate them completely.

can I use the MSM 1000mg capsules for the home made eye drop? And how often can I use the eye drop if I have glycoma?

    • Don

      Hello,
In case of glaucoma, you need to use them a few times a day. It is also recommended to take vitamin b complex and an ocular vitamin with them. As for the capsules – do you mean homemade MSM eye drops? Well, I don’t know exactly, since I haven’t tried this.

      Hello, Charlie,

where do u buy food grade hydro. perox

      You can get it here.

what is done with the leftover of the 8oz of distl. water and mix after putting a small amount into an eyedrop bottle, do u use it all or do u discord or store the remainder.

You can store it if you have another sterile container.

what is done with the leftover of the 8oz of distl. water and mix after putting a small amount into an eyedrop bottle, do u use it all or do u discord or store the remainder.

Glass containers can simply be placed in a boiling water for several minutes. For plastic ones you can use Hydrogen Peroxide to “wash” them.

other sites stating that all instruments must be steril including the container for the 8oz water.

      Yes, that’s correct.

I am wondering if MSM eye drops would help with diabetic retinopathy?

  6. Tom

Okay everyone is asking questions but is there anyone out there that has gotten results with cataracts using this solution? Need to know if it is going to work before jumping into it and spending more money that is ever harder to find. Please reply only if you have been helped. Thanks!!!
