Asus Transformer Battery Specs
The tablet has two batteries: one is in the tablet itself, and the second battery is in the docking keyboard (station). It seems that the docking battery life is twice shorter than the battery in the prime tablet.
If you switch on the Super IPS+ mode, Prime will work in a reading mode for around 4.5 hours (Wi-Fi is on). If the fully charged docking station is plugged in, then the battery life will last approximately for 7 hours.
If you turn the Super IPS+ off, the set the brightness to medium, ASUS Transformer Prime will consume energy at 10% per hour (without power saving feature turn on).
When watching video 720p (H.264 High Profile) in a power saving mode, and 50% of sound volume directed into earphones, the tablet will work for 12 hours (18 hours with docking station, as the manufacturer claims).
Probably, the Prime specs I mentioned in this article are not ASUS Transformer Prime full specs, but I think this information (though not very detailed) is enough to get a basic idea how Prime is going to be better than other tablets in the market today.
