I don’t know about you, but just about every other personal I met or talk to either has back pain or knows someone who does.
Have you ever bent over to pick something up off the floor and thought your whole world was crashing down from sudden, sharp pain ripping through your back?
You’ve probably already heard the statistic that 8 out of 10 people will experience lower back pain and to me that seems crazy! Why in the world are 80% of people going to have back pain? What’s wrong with the human back? Why not other parts of the body?
With all the cases of back pain and the years and years of research, you’d think they’d have it figured out by now, right?
NO… they’ll never figure it out. The reason is, back pain is fueling our economy. I hate to say it, but it’s true… think about how much money gets spent on treating back pain… billions of dollars each year.
There’s visits to your doctor, x-rays, MRI’s, physical therapy, chiropractic treatments, physical therapy, anti-inflammatories, prescription drugs, rub on creams, special chairs, belts, low back exercises. I could go on for days!
I am not saying that all doctors are bad and out to get you… not at all… in fact, I think most are genuine, caring people… BUT, many of them just don’t know about all the other treatment options… if they did, millions of people just like you wouldn’t be struggling with back pain.
Think about it… doctors aren’t trained to treat back pain… that’s why they just prescribe medications and then refer you to a “specialist” like a chiropractor, orthopedic specialist (who specialize in surgery), or a physical therapist, right? You get 10 minutes if your lucky, with a person who talks down to you and probably doesn’t care about you or your situation, then you get old-fashion, out-dated treatments that only address the symptoms… which may give a little relief if you’re lucky, and this is usually only temporary at most.
