There is no one in the world that does not wish that they could just flick a switch and their laggy computer would fix itself. Just as many people know this simply is not in the realm of possibility, at least not yet. Missing any detail, no matter how small, that is describing the problem, can make someone overlook entirely a perfectly good slow computer solution. To fix my computer, I really need to make sure I am not skipping any important details in troubleshooting.

The even less lucky ones are the ones that think it is a bug when it really is not. An overheating graphics card can produce effects similar to a buggy game. Distorted or bleeding colors and text is a good sign of a gfx card being too hot. More airflow needs to get through the PC tower, or permanent damage will be caused. If ignored, not only will you have a broken computer, a hole will be burned in your pocket because of all the money that needs to be spent to replace the card.
Playing buggy games is never the only reason people complain that, “My computer keeps freezing and is slow.” The reasons for slow computers includes things like viruses, incompatible software, broken hardware, overheating.
